ANRCETI Administrative Board will approve two new decisions in public session
Printer-friendly versionThe Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) announces of its intention to approve, in a public session, two draft decisions: identification of the market of wholesale access to network infrastructure at a fixed location and wholesale broadband access market. The session is scheduled for March 18, at 14.00, ANRCETI office, 5th floor, conference hall (bd. Stefan cel Mare, 134).
The draft projects were displayed on ANRCETI Internet page, for public consultation, on February 13 – March 1, and February 16 – March 3, 2010. As regards the first draft document, The Agency received recommendations from company Moldtelecom. It is this company that provided recommendations for the second draft presented for consultations..
The first draft decision is supplemented with an Explanatory Note and the analysis of the market of wholesale access to network infrastructure. The second draft is supplemented with an Explanatory Note and the corresponding market analysis.
After the decisions are approved the agency will pursue the complete analysis of the two mentioned markets in order to determine the provider with significant market power and impose special ex-ante obligations on such providers.
The market of wholesale access to network infrastructure at a fixed location and wholesale broadband access market are the first two markets to be analyzed for the identification of the markets susceptible to ex-ante regulation by the Agency.
