ANRCETI delegation takes part in forum of the Regional Commonwealth in Communications

A delegation of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), headed by Director Sergiu Sîtnic is taking part, on June 12 - 13, in the annual Session of the Board of the RCC Communications Administrations Heads (CRC), taking part in Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan.

The Session is attended by delegates from CIS states, Eastern Europe, representatives of international sector bodies. The agenda covers issues connected with the preparation of the national telecommunications administrations from the RCC member states for the participation in world forums in telecommunications, radio communications and standardization organized this year by the International Telecommunications Union, use of spectrum, discussion of the draft Declaration on principles of tariff formation for mobile telephony, applied in settlements between the mobile operators of RCC member states, reports on activity presented by the RCC Executive Committee. 

The Report of the Commission for Regulatory Bodies Coordination will be delivered by ANRCETI Director, Sergiu Sîtnic. He was elected as Chairman of the Commission by its members, at the proposal of the Executive Committee, in October 2011, during a session held in Chisinau.

The Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC) was created in December 1991 by national telecommunications administrations of the CIS countries for the purpose of inter-state coordination of postal and communications activities. The membership is 12 full-right members and 8 observers. The Commission for coordination of activity of CIS regulators has been working since 2007, pursuing the purpose of developing the cooperation and exchange of experience and information among regulators, as well as recommendations for increasing the efficiency of regulatory activity in this sector.
