National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

On June 8-10, 2015, a team of ANRCETI took part in a three-day workshop organized in Chisinau under TAIEX technical assistance tool, on quality of electronic communications services. The workshop was delivered by two experts from the communications regulatory authority in Latvia.

According to the agenda, the participants discussed issues related to administration of electronic communications service quality parameters, automation of measuring and monitoring processes, at European standards. They also looked into a number of important issues as regards re-evaluation of quality parameters in view of their optimization and implementation of the new concept of quality parameters ensured by electronic communications service providers.

The purpose of the TAIEX Mission is to provide assistance to harmonize the national legislation in the field of electronic communications to European standards for legally-based regulation of effective models of service quality management.

This is the first TAIEX workshop in 2015 delivered to ANRCETI by the European Commission. Another 3 workshops are envisaged by the end of this year, under the same program. They will be focused on current regulatory issues of high priority for ANRCETI.

TAIEX is an instrument for providing technical assistance to transpose EU legislation in the beneficiary states and to enforce it by relevant authorities. TAIEX provides technical training and counseling to the specialists in recipient countries through assistance provided by EU experts in relevant areas.
