ANRCETI ANNOUNCES PUBLIC MEETING FOR APPROVAL OF DRAFT DECISION ON ESTABLISHING PUBLIC SERVICES IN AREAS OF COMPETENCE AND APPROVAL OF REGULATION ON PUBLIC SERVICE PROVISION
The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology announces a public meeting to take place on May 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., to examine and propose for approval the draft Administrative Board Decision on establishing of public services in the areas of electronic and postal communications and the Regulation on Public Service Provision by ANRCETI in the fields of electronic and postal communications.
The purpose of the draft document is to create the regulatory framework for the provision of public services by ANRCETI, to ensure accessibility, quality of public services, and their efficient provision.
According to the Explanatory Note, the draft document proposes the establishment of the public services in the fields of electronic and postal communications to be provided by ANRCETI, as well as the approval of the Regulation on Public Services Provision by ANRCETI, in electronic and postal communications. The Regulation establishes the principles of providing public services, the legal relationships, the rights and obligations of ANRCETI and the public service beneficiary, the method of providing the public service, etc.
The project was subject to public consultation from February 3, 2023, to February 24, 2023. During the public consultation process, the Ministry of Justice submitted its opinion, with proposed modifications. They were reviewed and accepted, and included in the Summary recommendations.
