National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) is announcing its intent to select a company to audit ANRCETI budget performance in 2010. Interested persons are invited to submit offers to ANRCETI, before January 25, 2011.

The Agency will give priority to companies proving experience in auditing public institutions. It will provide the selected company with the documents and information necessary for this exercise on February 1, 2011, whereas the company will be required to present the Audit Report before February 25, 2011. The Agency keeps its financial accounts pursuant to the instruction „On Accounting in Public Institutions”, approved by Order no.93 of July 19, 2010, approved by Minister of Finance.

ANRCETI is a central public authority empowered to regulate the electronic communications and information technology field, created pursuant to the Law on Electronic Communications no. 241-XVI of November 15, 2008. The Agency operates pursuant to the legislation in force under the status of a legal person with autonomous budget.

According to the Law on Electronic Communications, the budget of the Agency is approved by the Administrative Board within the amount necessary to ensure the conform operation and financial independence of the Agency. The annual budget performance of ANRCETI is verified by an independent audit, whose Report is submitted to the Government.
