After first Qr 2016 providers publish measured values of quality parameters for four types of electronic communications services

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) reminds of the requirement that providers of public electronic communications services have to submit to ANRCETI, by April 20, 2016, the information on quality parameters measured in the I quarter of 2016 for four types of services: fixed telephony, mobile telephony, Internet access and television. This is an obligation prescribed by ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision no.278 of 17.11.2009, establishing the quality parameters for public electronic communications services, which was reviewed by Administrative Board Decision no. 68 of 12.11.2015.

According to decision above, providers are required to publish quarterly information on measured quality parameters for four types of publicly available electronic communications in commercial offices and/or on their websites, by the 30th of the month following the quarter and present this information to ANRCETI 10 days before their publication.

By the end of 2015, providers were required to measure quality parameters for seven types of public services: fixed telephony, Internet access, IP-based services, ISDN-based services, leased lines, mobile telephony and television. By Decision no. 68 of 11.12.2015, ANRCETI Administrative Board reduced the number of services subject to quality parameters measurement from seven to four.

The quality parameter for the four types of services will be presented and published on basis of the new standard forms, approved by ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision no. 2 of 03.02.2016. These forms are downloadable on ANRCETI website at: http://anrceti.md/fcat9, are to be filled in and submitted to: raport.calitate@anrceti.md. Subsequently, providers are required to submit the forms to ANRCETI (134 Stefan cel Mare bd., mun. Chişinău, MD 2012), either personally or by a representative, under signature.

Additional information on the procedure of measurement, presentation and publication of quality parameters is available on ANRCETI website: http://en.anrceti.md/parametrii_de_calitate.
