30.12.2010ANRCETI set, for the firs time, special ex-ante obligations for providers with significant market power on two relevant market The National Regulatory Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) set, for the first time, special ex-ante obligations for providers with significant market power on the markets for voice call termination on individual fixed telephone networks and voice call termination on mobile telephone networks, for the purpose of preventing the use of SMP against competition. The corresponding Administrative Board Decisions entered in force on the date they were adopted – 23.12.2010 – and were delivered to the providers concerned. 28.12.2010All shadow zones on five national roads will be covered by signal radio in the first quarter of 2011 Mobile operators „Orange Moldova”, „Moldcell” and „Moldtelecom” will complete the works to provide the radio signal coverage for all the shadow zones on the national roads and adjacent localities, as specified in their license conditions, before the end of the first quarter of 2011. 24.12.2010ANRCETI will assign distinct blocks of telephone numbers for provision of new services In 2011, telephone codes and numbers will be assigned by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) to providers of public fixed and mobile telephone networks and services, following the latter’s request, pursuant to the provisions of the Procedure for telephone Numbering Resource Administration. The new regulatory document was approved by Administrative Board Decision no. 58 of December 21, 2010 and will enter in force on January 1, 2011. Details |
22.12.2010ANRCETI approved new version of regulations on general authorization regime and license issuance for use of numbering resources The National regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) updated the classified list of the types of electronic communications networks and services subject to general authorization, the conditions of this procedure, as well as the procedure of license issuance for the use of radio frequencies and/or channels and numbering resources. The updated sections are provided in the new version of the Regulation on General Authorization Regime and License Issuance for Use of limited resources in the provision of public electronic communications networks and services.
